Last week Sofie and I were in San Jose, California for the RKC that was held there, me as a Team Leader for Team Blom and Sofie as a student in Team Dan John.
I had an absolutely awesome time teaching and coaching the people in my team, it’s nice to see such enthusiasm and energy even through long days of training, pain, sweat and learning. The RKC is full of so much different details for the 6 lifts – Swing, Get-up, Clean, Press, Front Squat & snatch – it is full of correctives, how to teach the lifts and everything else that a new instructor needs to know to start working with clients (in a safe and effective way). The way the RKC is set up is a great way to take your coaching even further.
During the RKC i was promoted to Senior RKC! At the moment there is 14 Senior Instructors in the world listed on Dragodoor.com, I will be number 15 on that list and it’s an honor to be up there with all the great coaches and teachers in the organisation.
The RKC is a school of strenght and I will do my absolutely best to promote that wherever I go!
Except Sofie, Pavel Tsatsouline, John DuCane, Brett Jones, Peter Lakatos, Mark Reifkind, Dave Whitley, Mark Toomey, Jeff O’Connor, Andrea DuCane, Dan John, Gray Cook, Mark Cheng… there is so many people that has helped me train and learn the RKC WAY so I’ll just say this to all off you – you all know who you are and what you mean!

The Senior RKC
This is the next highest level of instructor and is by invitation only. The Senior RKC has displayed a combination of superior teaching skills, leadership and physical abilities with the kettlebell. The Senior RKCs are responsible for teaching and testing at Dragon Door and Pavel’s renowned Russian Kettlebell Challenge Instructor certification workshops.
We strongly recommend you seek out one of these elite instructors for a workshop or private instruction, if at all possible. See a list of all Senior RKCs
